Resumen

Contamination of landlwater resources which is not caused by
anthropogenic pollution but triggered by inappropriate
development measures is illustrated at the example of two case
studies: (a) surface water and soil salinization in an inland
area, and (b) acid sulfate soils and runoffldrainage waters in a
river delta.
